Drew Calvert

Drew Calvert is a fiction writer and essayist living in California. His work has appeared in The Kenyon Review, Ploughshares, Threepenny Review, The Boston Globe, Commonweal, and other publications. He holds graduate degrees from Stanford and the Iowa Writers' Workshop, where he was an Iowa Arts Fellow and a Fulbright grant recipient. He was co-winner of the 2024 Sewanee Review Fiction Contest, judged by Lorrie Moore. He is working on his first novel.
