Neeru Jayanthi
Dr. Jayanthi is a sports medicine physician and researcher at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He is considered to be one of the country’s leading experts on youth sports health, injuries, and sports specialization and training patterns, as well as an international leader in tennis medicine.
He serves as a medical advisor for the WTA (Woman’s Tennis Association) Player Development Panel and has served as a team physician for the Atlanta Braves Organization, Gwinnet Stripers, and currently Georgia Tech Tennis, Johns Creek High School, Alpharetta High School and Pinecrest Academy. He has been featured and appeared in numerous media outlets including HBO Real Sports, ESPN, NPR, the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN, the Wall Street Journal. He is a proud husband and father to two young active boys and is a national level competitive tennis player.
